About

Jason Tatum is CEO of Mixmax, the Gmail-native sales engagement and follow-up platform used by revenue teams from one person to one hundred. He joined in November 2025 to lead product and was asked six months later to take over as CEO from the company's founder. Before Mixmax he spent nine years at CallRail, rising from product owner to Vice President of Product while the Atlanta-based company scaled past $100 million in recurring revenue — with, as he puts it, no skipped levels and no magic doors. An English major by training, he also serves on the board of directors of Propel ATL. At Mixmax he is rebuilding an acquisition motion that, he discovered, had never been built: standing up paid and organic channels, resetting positioning into customers' own language, opening the sales team to high-intent self-serve users, and deliberately choosing not to chase upmarket.
