Revops_org

Are the commonly quoted RevOps ROI statistics real?

Largely no. The famous figures — 10–20% sales productivity gain, 30% lower GTM expense, 100–200% marketing ROI — appear in a 2020 consultancy article with no sample size, no methodology and no citation. The ubiquitous "36% more revenue growth, 28% more profitability" is an orphan attributed to Forrester that traces to nothing.

Forrester's actual published figure for aligned revenue teams is 19% and 15%. The category is unusually circular: a figure is published without method, a vendor blog repeats it, an SEO page cites the blog, and within two years it is "industry standard." Check the primary document before it goes in a board deck.
