# Will AI replace RevOps teams?

The measured pattern is the opposite: AI raises the volume of systems work rather than removing it. The fastest-converting use of AI in the panel is building the revenue system itself — 26% use it for schema, pipelines, routing logic and dashboards, and 100% of those have it in production.

What changes is the ratio of build time to judgement time, not the need for the function. The 2026 planning data makes the squeeze explicit: median expected RevOps headcount change is 0% while sales and post-sales grow 10–20% — the same team absorbing a fifth more selling capacity on a bet that AI closes the gap.
